    iblaze and Lasty like this.
  3. I replaced my fuel and breather hoses with non braided CODAN R9 a while back and all fine still.

    iblaze and Barneyrubble like this.
  4. Main thing is check um . Any form of braid I thought was for strength and protection hence you can’t see what’s going on under , there are hoses that suit modern fuels so I assume use these ,try not to go for cheap eBay carp .

When the old outer braided stuff cracks it suddenly looks quite new. But it smells a bit.

    and drips!

  7. So if it’s steel braid ?

  8. I wouldn’t use steel braid. All the ones I’ve had on other cars have a pipe with a steel braid then an extra end cap over the braid. This makes them hard to bend and manipulate. Not what you want up the back of your spare wheel bowl.
