Fresh Air hoses

  1. Here we go since I picked up my bus I have refitted the crankcase breather properly changed the oil and connected up the fuel breathers properly in the engine bay. I have also started to put together my heater system back together. Starting at the back and working my way forward due to money I can't afford to do the full system yet. I was wondering if I connected up the fresh air hoses from the tin wear to the heater exchangers would this cause a problem with the rest of the system not connected.I also don't know whether my heat exchangers are seized yet hoping they aren't I forgot to check while I was underneath?

    Thanks for your help

Yes connect the 2 outlets on the fan housing to the heat exchangers if that's what you mean.

  3. Yes that's what I mean Zed would that be ok to do I suppose its better than it just being left open to the elements isn't it?

  4. connecting up hoses wont cause problem, it will just be like they are shut if they dont work and air flow will just exit heat exchanger before the control flap, or just get under the van open by hand then bend the arm so it stays open all the time. thats how mine had been fixed but i have re-done them so they work with new cables etc:thumbsup:
