    The French guy with the oversized ducks does the garden over the way and knocked the door a couple of weeks back with a five foot one.

    I have grabbed a few ,you have to be quick and they are strong buggers ,even when your hand is on his neck they still try to turn....:gnome:

    There natural environment is living in tiles/rubble and under makeshift showers...

  10. Great pics - looks absolutely lovely there! A few comments from me:
    Mrs TW needs to watch her toes whilst wielding that sledgehammer
    You could do up the little cart and sell it as a trailer...
    I love the look of the stonework
    Is that some writing above the front doorway? If so, what does it say?

    Her toes are safe, she only had one swing.
    The cart, I was thinking planting in up.
    Stone work needs a lot of work but we have tons of it kicking around so its just a matter of time.
    We haven't managed to workout the writing its a bit to worn.

    You'll have to pop in when your this way.
     
  13. Would love to visit sometime - hopefully we'll get a proper holiday next year. The cart would look lovely planted up - a much better idea!

    When I lived in Lyons the local Carrefour had these sort of optic things in the wall, it was about 20p for a litre of (very very rough) red or white wine (this wa back in th'early 80's btw). Filthy paint-stripping stuff but pleasant enough after the the first few glasses had been drunk. :beer:
