Its been there since sunday and was too weak to do anything. My two dogs found it but luckily I don't think they could work out what it was and didn't try to chase it. RSPCA and the British Divers Marine Life Rescue now involved so hopefully its gonna get rescued. It makes a change seeing an alive one on the beach as usually theres just dead ones washed up.
Got a call from the RSPCA saying they are taking him to a rescue centre. He's only a few weeks old they reckon. I wish my dogs were as well behaved with my mums cat as they were with the seal.
Dogs can be funny like that. Eddie will chase anything small and furry that moves fast, but he knows to leave our pet rabbits/guinea pig alone, and doesn't go for animals that are obviously not well.
