Price - £17950 Location - Norwich Our beloved VW - T2 Campervan 'Horace' has been in the family since 2016 purchased from this forum, sadly we have now outgrown him, so now is the time to find him a new home. Horace is a classic 1973 Tin Top campervan, it has its original features with some additions of modern accessories like a DAB radio, LED lights and a USB power socket. The campervan was imported from Sweden back in 2010 (we have the original photos) and is a LHD. It was registered road worthy in 2012 having undergone some restoration works (we have all photos). In the past 7 years since owning him we have also continued to invest and undertake several modifications. The vehicle was professionally repainted into the classic red/white half and half colourings back in 2018, during this work all new window and door seals were fitted. The engine has new fuel lines, it has been rewired and fitted with a leisure battery and inverter. The engine has been serviced yearly by VW specialists and a new twin exhaust provides a lovely sound as the 1.7l air cooled engine purrs along the country roads. Internally, 'Mad Matz' carpet has been fitted in the front of the vehicle and VW patterned vinyl tiles in the rear. New colour matching door cards have been fitted matching the refurbished dashboard. An original classic Westfalia rock and roll bed is fitted in the rear along with a powered sink, storage cupboard and integrated cool box. These units are now in need of a little TLC, but rather than swap these out ourselves we thought someone may like a little project of bringing them back to their best or opt to swap out for something a little more modern. The roof lining has been replaced and is now fitted with Pioneer speakers and LED lighting. Horace has been garaged ever since we purchased in 2016 and the bodywork has benefitted from this, keeping him in very good condition. Underneath is excellent with no corrosion and the door panels are in good order. You will see in the photos a couple of small areas where superficial rust has developed but these areas are all solid and easily treated. The van also comes with a Vango Air away Kela 3 awning, full vehicle cover and hammock bed. The awning is extremely quick to set up and provides an additional bedroom/storage area and the hammock is suitable for children up to 10/12 years old. This camper will be sadly missed as it has provided great holidays and memories but with just 2000 miles clocked up in the past 3 years it's time for him to go ! Contact - message via PM
