Alcohol. It's a real bummer. I gave a recovering alcoholic the chance to get his career back on track. I did that because, work wise, the guy's a genius. Now he's back on the bottle (off work and off his trolley, blind drunk for 4 weeks now) throwing his life down the pan once again. He even called me to say he's accepted that he'll now lose his house and end up living in a box under the railway bridge. How sad is that? It's not the first time I've witnessed the evil and destructive nature of booze.
this is excellent has anyone noticed tho how when this go downhill and become a struggle in any form it happens quickly!.......when you make great effort and keep trying it seems to take forever to have an effect or to get a break....why is that?? And when you try hard to do the best for people you still see selfish and dishonest ****holes getting ahead ....[some bankers and freebie claiming politicans for example]......and why are the inland revenue hastling me for late payments when Vodafone can wriggle out of 9billion in unpaid tax???? but I try to beleive that 'success is the sum of small efforts repeated on a daily basis'
