Does anybody care anymore After some of the great sport we've had this summer I reckon this lot of losers have lost their appeal
I think football and the way the players interact with officials, and at times the crowd too looks all a bit pathetic and unnecessary at the moment. I think Olympic crowds show what passion and desire doesn't mean aggression.
I've fallen out of love a little with Football. My lad has just started playing Rugby and I've been getting more from that at the moment.
Very true. Have loved the para games and am defo going to try and see a game of murderball sorry wheelchair rugby. Never even heard of this 6 weeks ago. I just presum,ed people in wheelchairs were nice and placid. They are absolutely brutal. It really did open my eyes as I was maybe a bit nieave to there plight. Wel done team para gb
Do not dessert or dismiss our national game, yes we may be crap at it presently and some members may be disillusioned with the game especially after the heady days of Dean Saunder's reign at Doncaster! Alas there's sport and then there's football! : :

There was a report after Hillsborough that recommended seating , then there was the formation of the sky led premier league , both decided that we the fans should behave and then priced us out of the game and aimed the new seated /premier league at a upper working and middle class audience , what happened then was we saw a rise in players wages and a sanitising of the crowd . Result is what we got overpaid over rated prima donna's and few good English players watched by lifeless crowds who don't play the game and think singing and shouting is to be frowned on . Passions gone out of the English game and it is showing .
I haven't bothered much with soccer for years - although i did manage to win the company fantasy league two years on the trot without really knowing much about who the players were. The soccer nuts would spend ages on their selections. I just used to look at who was getting their picture the most on the back pages.
I lost interest in Footy about 2 years ago. The cheating is too ridiculous to take the game seriously.
