Floor vinyl.

  1. Anyone gots any good links for flooring? I prefer carpet, but it's got to be vinyl because I've got a swing out cooker. All the vinyl at my local flooring place is so boring, I don't really really want black and white squares either. Ideally it would be something with a cool pattern with a green theme to match the roof canvas. Any ideas? Cheers.

How much would a vans worth cost?

  10. About 80 quid maybe. A local carpet shop should be able to supply it.

Cheers, I might give that a go then. Our vinyl tiles lifted a bit last year when the sun got the floor really hot.

  12. Thanks everyone. Found the perfect pattern in the Harvey Maria, but it's £100 and comes in tiles rather than one piece. Have you guys used tiles? I'd be worried about them lifting because of floor flex.

  13. i've got harvey maria tiles and they're absolutely fine even after using the van as a removal van, runs to the tip with radiator sludge oozing onto them etc. the tiles are very thick and strong and have a 15 year guarantee even in a camper, i checked ;) they have a coating which mean that they are always protected. i had mine professionally laid but i don't see a problem if you use good adhesive.

    now, show me which ones!

I think it would go well with the canvas which looks like this. I need to add some colour, it's all a bit black and white at the mo.

  16. You say it's £100 but I wouldn't think 1box will be enough! Not sure of you van lay out though. What is on your floor? Plywood?

  17. You're right, it wouldn't be enough:(
I thought it was 2x2 metres. It's got a ply floor at the mo.
