Fitting full rear corners

  1. I will soon be fitting full rear corners to my 73, at this stage I have not made any purchases but have been looking at Schofields who have been offering them at £150 each. I need to replace as wal as the bottoms being knackered there are holes all over the place (I bought the van having been blasted and then left), also the joint where the corner meets the door frame is virtually non existant. Can anyone with the experience of replacing coners give me some advice please
    Cheers, Mick

post up some pictures of the door frame, but in order to full weld in a rear corner you need to cut out an access panel inside the van behind the corner and weld it back in again later

  3. Will get some piccies later for you all to laugh at, thanks for the heads up re cutting acces panels. I am fortunate that I have a spot welder I can use as well as mig and tig although I am not skilled with the tig, spot welder weighs a ton >:D
