Fitting dog legs / front wing

  1. I have three dog legs which certainly aint good for walking in a straight line. One is old repaired on the left and on the right I have a cheap and nasty and a VEEWIB / VW OE one.

LHS fits fine and needs a pull of about 2mm where the flat door base meets the curve down. (LAST PIC GREY WING) I think I need to secure at the back and work forward with a 5mm gap and 10mm at the step happy days.

RHS the cheap wing outer profile is good and it fits OK - seams and folds though are bad and it doesnt look good.

The expensive VEEWIB though is creating me a problem. When I set the wing rear face aligned to the b post the front left inner face to the inner A post face is angled about 8 degrees from the A post and if I set that then the rear wing is not aligned to the B post as the pictures show? When I put the door up the curve in the door fouls the wing and the wing face needs to go back and down?

Do the good wings need a bit of work and will it pull in - or does it sound distorted?
