Fitting a Seat Swivel plate

    if memory serves me right they slide on to existing runners and you then slide the seat into the runners built into the new plate , they are blinking heavy and i don't think they work too well on pre 73 passenger seats as these don't have runners :)

    Anyone fancy lending a hand as according to poptops they are heavy & not sure my wife would fancy the job!!

    they aren't so heavy you can't do it yourself , its just worth noting when it comes through the post :)

    if you have a bulkhead behind the seat you may find the seat back is fixed to this and holds the back up.
     
  6. If you've got bulkheads behind the seats, you're going to have to chop them off.

    As matty says, if you've got the stock VW passenger seat that clips to the bulkhead, you're going to have to find another driver's side seat to take its place.
