So this is how it looked when I got it ... and this is how it looks now - thanks to a bit of magic from Type 2 Detectives ...! Still a lot to be done ... but it now looks great AND fits into the garage!
i'm torn, like original and standard height but i do like the look and wheels on the 2nd picture, whatever suits your own use is good.
Enough to get into the garage! To be honest I've not measured it terribly accurately but its about 7 1/2 inches shorter than it was...
It was originally a Safare camper from California, but I don't think the roof is the original one. There's nothing in the interior other than a full-width rock and roll bed - I think the original interior was lost when it was shipped to Europe ... As for lowering it still further - I think you would need to go for something a bit more radical - I've got low-profile tyres on the front and its about as low as you can get without the tyre impacting on the wheel arch ...
