Finally got over that 'summer's gone' feeling

I was miserable for ages when September hit and now it's half way through October and I'm embracing Autumn; the dog's in the autumn mood too





We picked a load of crab apples (not the ones Púca knabbed) and they are happily mushing down with some quinces to make jelly and then (in work) we picked the last of the veg today and these colours hit me

IT'S OVER??!???!??! No one told me.

 

wish i wasn't at work today the summer is deffo shining well out the office window hope it's nice next weekend.

 

Its dropped cold of late up here im sure it wont be long before those crisp frosty mornings

I was glad that winter had not completely arrived on Wednesday as my car broke down and I had to attend a meeting in Leicester, round trip of 360 miles on an unfaired motorbike.

 

it's not over, i'm still planing camping trips and working in shorts and t shirt

 

its been sunny all day, but hat and scarfs were on...its nippy down here on the beach :cold:
