Why are they dressed as dominatrixes?

This is just my opinion but......

I personally prefer a cover that does something a bit different with the original. Harry Styles has pretty much just copied Peter Gabriel and to me that’s a bit pointless. I was listening to a cover of Donald Fagen’s The Nightfly on YT a few days ago, and it was a nearly note perfect reproduction of the original, so ,no thanks, I’ll listen to the original. But the comments below were all pretty much favourable so what do I know? As I say, that’s just how I see it. Harry Styles is a talented fella but I’d have preferred him to put a more distinctive spin on the raw material, chew it up, spit it out, see what happens. Just him and a guitar version of it, or him and a toy piano, something different to the original.

Not at all. It depends what each individual means by a cover, to me it’s still recognisably the same song , but done differently. Obviously there are degrees of “different”
