I got mine last minute at Liverpool.you have to go in person .you have an appointment .and you have to go back 2 hours later to pick it up .the appointment was a 5 minute handover your money thing .
I didn't see it as racist, just humorous comments on the amount of Europeans in the town. There wasn't any hate or discrimination going on.
How can mentioning the abundance of a particular group of people in a specific area from any given country be construed as racist ? Look up what it means before trying to call me racist.
Like I said happy to be corrected but I'm in peterboghorror and not eastern European and a lot of them work very hard around here on the land. I felt an underlying thing that they were hanging around to get passports etc, as said maybe I read into it, maybe I didn't
Based on your response you agree that there is a lot of them then which was my point, i'm not however in control of how you read what I wrote, maybe there are some underlying factors leading you to read it as racist such as local jokes. The government agree that the massive influx of European people Into the UK is stretching our welfare budget to breaking point, hence them changing the rules about entry into the UK..... Alas I did not mention that, but even if I had, it would still have not been racist. Seriously, look up the meaning of the word, that will put things straight.

Noun racist (plural racists) A person who believes a particular race is superior to others. Fair enough. No hint of that in the above posts IMHO. Nothing to see here; move along...
How I read it at time was more based on number 3 (intolerance) however I stand corrected so that's all good, if I didn't comment I would have been wrong not to check. Off to work now have a good day all.
I'm 1/2 Polish ..... There was an old lady in my local WHS the other day who was mouthing off saying 'all these foreigners should leave and let us have our country back' ... I am usually a restrained person but had to tell her to stop being so narrow minded. I love the mixed culture that we have here in UK .....
