    We don't have famous people born here - they just move here - especially if they play football and like knocking down houses and building monstrosities.

    Although we do have Noddy Holder living in the village :)

    Timothy Dalton comes from Belper (his parents owned Silkolene Oils)

    Gwenne Taylor comes from Crich (Frank Foster in Corrie's Mum).

    My daughter Lauren's Grandad is nephew to Robert Lyndsey - Citizen Smith/My Family (real name Robert Stevenson from Ilkeston)

    I am related to the scottish poet Robbie Burns..:)
