Hi Guys n Gals...Andy(Van) here!!! Although a Yorkshireman from Sheffield I live and work restoring VDubs down in South Wales and have also done T3 (T25) spares for quite a few years too!! Have actually posted on here before but lost my password and details so im back on again!!! Have just acquired a bit of a family heirloom that has been owned from new by my Mums cousins great Aunt and Uncle (a bit obscure but they are family!!!)...The 'Uncle' had always said he'd sell it once it reached 100,000 miles but sadly passed away 7 weeks ago with the mileage on 99,640. the bus is a Danbury 12 seater minibus tintop in jaffa. Inside and mechanically it is superb but has had thirty years of 'old bloke' body repairs and now needs the usual attention. It has a full test and tax so I will be able to enjoy pottering around whilst doing a bit at a time as I go. The van has been used for years transporting gangs of children on trips (the couple had fostered children for years and never had any of their own) and as they were also very keen cyclists and members of a local club a tandem bike was also very often carried around, and at some stage the middle seats were thrown away as they had become a bit 'ragged'. The two buddy seats that are mounted onto the back of the front seats are still in excellent condition as is the rear seat base...I'll start a thread this week so you can all have a look. My plan is to return it to full Danbury [glow=red,2,300]fact[/glow]ory condition. I also now have an unbelievable folder of info on the bus including every receipt from new until now including a bill for 3 days hire before purchase to fully try the bus out (£13!!) . I'll start a thread on the minibus this week anyway and get some pics up. Ive got a bit sidetracked there I see....haha!!! anyway Hi everyone!!! Andy
