Exhaust quality

  1. There seems to be water droplets in the exhaust gas coming out of the tailpipe for a few minutes after firing the engine up. Is this normal?

  2. Assuming air cooled...cold engine condensate out of the exhaust is normal for a minute or two until it warms up.

  3. As fritt says, it's normal for any engine.

  4. An engine passes something like a litre of water per litre of fuel burnt or something close to that , there is a lot of moisture in air

  5. And remember its not the water in the air that makes the exhaust cloudy, water is one of the products of combustion.
    Fuel + oxygen + spark = carbon dioxide + water + heat
After thew engine has warmed everything up the water doesn't condense out till its well past the end of the exhaust pipe
