Events calender looks a bit empty?

Discussion in 'Shows Events You've Missed unless you went' started by Wispy, Mar 26, 2013.

  1. Hi guys.

I haven't posted much on here, mainly because I don't have a van yet. But I'm keen to get to some events (weather and family commitments permitting) so I can have a good poke around and get ideas & inspiration.

Having looked at the events calender, there's not much happening this year! I don't believe for one minute this is true, but it would be great if the events were listed in one place, in date order. Or at least if the calender could actually have the events in there (lovely though the birthdays are to see). I'm not trying to be a trouble maker, it just appears that the information could be easier to find and sift through than the current forum-only view that has currently has 2012 events as the first thing you see, all based on the most recent postings.

Other forums I'm on have an events page with everything in order, and a list of who's signed up for it. It makes it really easy to see what's going on, how far away it is, and if anyone's actually going along. THen the events can have their own thread separately for discussion (as at the moment).

Please feel free to tell me to shut up, but it might be something worth looking into :)

not sure. i tried doing it same way as last year but didn't work.

i can copy and paste a link no probs but it used to be possible to hide the link and change it to say the event

  9. I assumed that it'd be the same as HTML where you put the web address in quotation marks, but it's not. I think maybe the new forum is case sensitive with tags.

  10. Yay! Thanks guys!
