I have an erberspacher heater in my beetle and I wondering if I could put it in my bay? I'll be honest and say I have no idea how this thing works but I wondered what I'd need to fit it (if I can of coarse as I understand its plumbed into the petrol tank) and if there are any pro and cons with this idea or if it would be just as cost efficient to get something else fitted? If so what?
Its probably easier to just buy a newer one as the beetle ones are shaped to fit the bugs underbonnet area not a flat surface. The fuel supply is just T'd into the main fuel line in some or use an extra fitting on the top of the tank to pick up the fuel.
