Going camping with two mates when i was 18 when the boot floor of my morris 1100 fell out , those tent poles and guy ropes make a handy new boot floor , only a few things never made it to Gt Yarmouth

Broke a trailing arm on a Trabbi once. In the middle of a convenient junction.
Wheel obviously fell off a bit & pulled the handbrake cable so tight that the car wouldn't move.
My man with the big spanners nipped out, jacked it up, tied it back together with baling twine & mole grips.
And I drove it back to his garage for to have a spot of weld.
