Alternator belt snapped last night, before I realised the engine had cooked itself.... Starts but will barely run. My guess is that it'll be easier & cheaper to replace rather than fix. Van has the standard 1600 motor at the but, not sure what else might fit. Help!!
That's a really bummer. You'll be looking at 300-400 notes for a runner. In the mean time get the engine out and split it and see what the damage is, you never know you may be able to fix it cheaper.
Thanks for the reply. I'll get the van in this week to be looked at. As you say it might be fixable.....
