I'm trying to re-wire the engine after 3 years of it being removed and can't exactly remember where all the wires go. The alt warn light one... Does it continue on from the loom and plug into the... A positive side on coil B oil pressure switch C another (please state) D the cable shouldn't continue on after the alternator Cheers
It doesn't continue, are you looking at either the oil pressure switch wire or the wire from the diagnostics plug?
Back to your original quesion, you might have an extra wire continuing on from your alt warning light wire to trigger a leisure battery split charge relay.
I was looking at other diagrams online and couldn't find anything about what else could connect... So I cut it off! I'llne on here next week asking whyy van won't start
