Emergency Peak Run 2011

Discussion in 'Show Event Photos' started by Dubmatix, Nov 17, 2011.

  1. This is an annual run out that myself and Craig attend (as the East Midlands contingent) with our two TEL80 buses....generally into the peaks for a drive out, some photo opportunities and a pub lunch. This year the pub had a fire going so was top banana! O0 Problem getting any more together is that we're too widely spread across the country :(
We did get some funny looks from passers by though!

  3. Yeah that's the one Morks, the infamous duckpond! Bet you can't guess without cheating, the other location! ;D We didn't make it to the cheese shop this time.

Well, if you went to Hartington, you will more than likely have gone to Cromford, over Via Gelia up to the Buxton road...it could either be Black Rocks, Middleton by Wirksworth or (I think its) Newhaven?

    Great phots though!

  5. Not bad not bad...pretty close! It's the improvised car park next to Harboro' rocks nr Brassington. Great views from up there on a clear day and an old carved stone chair! (and a geocache of mine too!) Do you know it?

On this map, near the cave and the trig marks the top of the rocks

  9. Thats deffinatly the shade of red my van was when it left the factory

Was it only emergency wagons that came red from the factory

All the other panel vans ive seen have been blue originally

  10. Paradox, it's orange lad! 8) Have you ever been checked for colour blindness? It was a bit misty so i guess i'll let you off ;D
It's not very common (or popular!) colour. Do you think yours may be an ex emergency bus?

  11.
  12. Yes wiring colours are pretty critical on such things...i think i have developed a sudden fear of flying ;).
Dutch is it? Possible then...have you done the m code decode? Anything unusual?

  13. Yeah birdy did the m code a while ago ill get him to re do it
