electric hook up

  1. Hi all,

Not done much on the van for a bit. Just had it painted and now thinking about wiring. i am not going to be having any fancy battery system, i jsut want to plug it in when i park on a site and unplug it. Most of the kits i see online had jsut the two sockets. My question is are they only two sockets for a reason i can i put say two double sockets or 4 single sockets? Like i say it would only be running from the site electrics.

    Kind regards
    Luke

The reason will be cost.....as long as you follow approved method of running additional sockets.... ring main, spurs etc.
... there's no reason you can't run additional sockets..... they won't be all used at once and if you tried, most site electrical connections would trip.

  3. Thank you thats helpful. All will be wired correctly.

Just remember the max hookup supply is 16amp and often only 10amp so you don’t want to plug to much in.
