hi, im thinking about booking a last minute deal to Egypt for xmas as i thought it was going to be hot, however someone has told me its only "warm" and cant really use pools or swim in the sea has anyone been in december??? thinking about sharm el sheikh any info is greatly appreciated
We did Sharm over Christmas the year before last. Weather was good enough to be around the pool by daytime. Ddint go in the sea and the pool was a bit chilly! But it was certainly good enough to be catching some rays and relaxing. Had a fab time overall and made for a very different and enjoyable Christmas - the hotel go all out on Christmas Eve, and then calm right down. In our hotel we were around the pool during the day and went ice skating in the hotel rink when the sun went down (about 4pm)! We did a day in Cairo as well, but Im not sure how feasible that is now? Cairo is crawling with bay windows!
