Staying here for a few days, www.eastfleet.co.uk Great location for Weymouth and the jurassic coast, quite a busy site but plenty of space if you book a large pitch. Plenty of water and electric points. Mostly motor homes and tents, mine is the only bay. A well run and organised site with a nice club house, shop and bar, games area for the kids and outdoor play area. Showers and toilets are spotless with plenty of hot water. Not for those who like rough, wild camping but if you want everything to hand. The only dowsnide are the families that find it acceptable to let their spawn scream and cry for the sake of it. Will post some photo's later.
We stayed at the next door site a few years ago, which I think was run by the same people - was very spacious and a lot quieter than East Fleet, which we looked at whilst we were there: http://www.seabarnfarm.co.uk/ Worth a look whilst you are there, five minute walk along footpaths.
We stayed there a few years ago in our tent, one of the windiest sites we've ever stayed at! The other thing we didn't like was the fact that our tent was large and a slightly awkward Y shape and we had to pitch it at an odd angle to keep within the confines of the pitch markers. I had to shorten the guy ropes so they didn't stray outside the edge of our pitch as they seemed desperate to have an excuse to charge us more.
Definitely windy but it's right on the coast so no real surprise. I booked an extra large pitch as my awning is quite long, the 'regular' size pitches do look a bit tight.
