Once @Paul Weeding is back from his holiday and gets my engine done, the above is a good description of my van.
I don't know, it's just those indicators on a late, they remind me of Milhouse van Houten every time.
Worse than that is having a late bay and changing the the shape to an early. I remember years ago there was a company selling a bolt on front nose that made your bay look a bit like a split. I seem to remember it was called a bay split. Worst Vw accessory ever!
