brucieboy they may fit, it depends if Daves bus has 5 x 112 wheels fitted (I bought a 5 x 112 off him), if that's the case, they should fit

  6. hmmm, is it a huge job swapping beams? is there much ancillaries int he way/attached to it?

nope not really a big job Bruce but you wouldn't need the beam as its lhd but you could swap the lot, in a quick breakdown, remove discs & calipers, disconnect the track arms completely as they will be replaced, remove disc backing plate, the hardest part will be to remove the stock height spindles - undo the bolts n crack with a hammer!
Rebuild is a reverse of the process but using two pairs of adjustable rack arms over the one single one.

Point of observation, Transporterhaus recommend fitting low profile tyres to avoid rubbing on the arches!

I looked into going down the same root - a chat with Zed over the pro's and cons made me stay stock for the time being! Not to say drop spindles don't look great they do, it wasn't the right route for me at the time!

  9. im totally torn on how to lower the bus, red 9 coil overs, adjusters, drop spindles! its a bloody mine field of pros and cons! ive got to stay stock for the time being as I need to sort the heating out as the heat cable has snapped under the dash and I also need to get seatbelt mounting plates welded in by some one so lowering will have to wait im afraid.

Sorry to jack your thread buddy :(

  10. Hi sorry guys been putting my narrowed beam on yes they are for pcd 112 as I have gas burner on that I sold on the spare. With the Lhd you can swop the servo bracket and steering damper bracket over.

  11. Dropped Spindles are the easy route to drop your bus not only that you ride quality is still there. But if you want to go lower then the adjusters would finish the job. With just an adjustable beam lowering a few inches is fine but lowering 4,5,6 inches approx making the adjusters max out then the beam ride is not so good but it depends how hard core you are :-D.
So in a nut shell adjusters are the easiest way for a 3.5inch drop, but if you want an inch or 2 then the beam or both to slam it. thanks Dave.
