Earlier sliding doors, who knew!?

What, apart from the B pillar catch and the handle, was improved? It looks pretty similar.

 

Dunno, but you don't have to slam the buggers!

 

On this subject, how do any of you open the door from the inside as I only have a small square block and no handle??

 

sounds like your missing the inner handle?

 

Got this but what's the little square thingy for? And is my handle on the right way?

 

so your missing the lock flippy thing (technical term) then-

 

Your square thingy should realy have a plastic knob on it. It just locks the door when shut.

My 71 has this feature and you cant lock it from the inside until you have pulled the handle up

 

...or the outside.

 

Some great info here, need to look at mine properly do I can lock it from the inside.
