Durdle Door

  1. Just had a relaxing weekend on a campsite in Dorset, Durdle Door Holiday Park.
Nice site with a good bar and restaurant but with a toilet block that required key code entry ?
The pitch was plenty big enough although the groundsman must have been on holiday as the grass was a bit long. Worth a visit but be sure not to camp in the woodland as it's a bit too dark and damp.

Day 1 was a little grim to start with but around midday the sun came out whilst we were mooching around Weymouth and to Finnish with the regulation BBQ and a few sherbets made for a good Saturday.

Day 2 and the weather was stunning which warranted a walk down to the coast to see some absolutely stunning scenery followed by a trip to Swanage where there were holding a folk festival - not my thang but a great atmos to boot.

Van ran like dream and judging by the smiles, waves and nods of approval Dorset enjoyed our company !

    Pics to follow.....
