well, I am pleased to announce that after a further consultation with the Dark Lord, he was both pleased and sated with the vigour and energy devoted to toasting the health and fortune of the Dark Lord with alcoholic liquor, making merriment and delighted with the return of his bride. The copious amounts of brimstone and fire were also looked upon favourably. So I can announce with great reverence and pleasure that the glorious Dark Lord has bestowed on us the honour of returning to his house once more on the next all hallows to dwell amongst him and his evil servants of death, devilness and drink. Thanks everyone for a thoroughly brilliant weekend from me, Paley, Pascale, Sarah, Diggy & Womble (well not so much Diggy although he said to tell his auntie Hels that he really enjoyed his walk and PASTRY on Saturday) As Jonathan said to me last night: "In't it brilliant - you don't just buy a bus, you get a ready-made social circle with it" ;D Can't wait til next year Wonder if I can find myself a bigger frock next time? Thanks to all, who made this such a great weekend :- Moira & Julie for the wonderful veg soup and spiced apple cake, Helen for the chicken dish, yorkshire campers for the most impressive fancy dress effort under adverse weather conditions, Brian and Shell for music, fires and photo call and dubweisers for providing the most impressive pumpkin display. Most of all though, thanks to Helen and Steve for organising it all and leading the Saturday entertainment. Roll on next year.
Hear, hear Mrsmc! For those who were concerned about the frock...this is from my *actual* wedding weekend. So you really didn't need to worry about what state it was getting in...I'm hardly the most elegant of people... ;D I'm actually just glad the socks matched.
Just wanted to say thankyou to everyone for such a brilliant weekend. The food was lovely and very welcome after the scary drive in the dark, the company was great and the caving was an experience I'll never forget and eagerly repeat!!! Roll on next year ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D Thanks for a fab weekend
