Anyone tried one of these mounted in the centre of the dash? http://www.classiccarstereo.co.uk/c...6-dual-voice-coil-full-range-loudspeaker.html You have to pay an additional £31.95(!) for a "T2 bracket", but I can't see why you'd need one as the mounting is just bolted through from the top of the dash. I'm not keen on cutting into my door cards and mounting a reasonable speaker in the original speaker location seems like a good solution. Any experience?
There was a thread on here about dash speaker fitting using a retro sounds duel voice coil speaker http://www.thelatebay.com/index.php...statement-and-mono-radio-advice-needed.57393/ I bought one for my bus but not fitted it yet
Ah good thread - thanks. Looks like the same product but slightly cheaper. The bracket makes sense too
