Driving with Propex on

Discussion in 'Camper Conversions' started by Pony, Sep 13, 2013.

  1. Is it ok or is it boom a go go?
I remember reading that a type of regulator can make it safer, but have forgot.

  2. They're designed to be used in motion. I haven't had a problem as yet.

  6. In the USA, some states have laws regarding driving with propane on. I am assuming that propex is the same or similar? A few years back, a large RV was parked at a diesel pump with several other rigs when a propane appliance malfunctioned and the results were indeed catastrophic. Several deaths occurred, a whole diesel island was lost as well, as some semi trailers and their cargoes. Needless to say, I don't drive with mine gas turned on. Peace, Don

  7. We use ours as a heater while moving and it works well.

  8. I thought u had a special regulator to use it in motion!
