Here's a question. We've just sub let part of our warehouse to a company who specialise in carpentry / joinery and the like. I got chatting to them as I saw a couple of old half built minis bring tucked into the garage and we got onto the subject of good old campers. I asked him if he could make me a full set of door cards, (well the wood part ready for me to fabricate), and he said no problem as long as I brought in the originals. Now questions for you fine people are; 1) If he was willing is there a market for selling door cards? 2) If so what is the general market price? 3) Are all bus door cards the same for any age late bay?
Guess that's a no then! Was going to offer it to any TLBers at the cost of the materials etc but if it's not something that people need I'll just get mine done.
http://www.justkampers.com/shop/pair-of-door-cards-in-3mm-plain-mdf-pre-cut-for-d-i-y-covering-j12423.html I'm currently doing mine. I've used hardboard.
There were a few places doing sets of cards, varying in price and with 3mm mdf or hardboard or ply, so there is a market there, but i suppose like everything else its price dependant. if you get a price I will be after some in the not too distant future also need some of the rear cards as well. Chappers, Liking that covering looks really good
