Door cards

  1. Here's a question. We've just sub let part of our warehouse to a company who specialise in carpentry / joinery and the like.

    I got chatting to them as I saw a couple of old half built minis bring tucked into the garage and we got onto the subject of good old campers.

    I asked him if he could make me a full set of door cards, (well the wood part ready for me to fabricate), and he said no problem as long as I brought in the originals.

    Now questions for you fine people are;

    1) If he was willing is there a market for selling door cards?
    2) If so what is the general market price?
    3) Are all bus door cards the same for any age late bay?

  2. Guess that's a no then! Was going to offer it to any TLBers at the cost of the materials etc but if it's not something that people need I'll just get mine done.

  3. There were a few places doing sets of cards, varying in price and with 3mm mdf or hardboard or ply, so there is a market there, but i suppose like everything else its price dependant. if you get a price I will be after some in the not too distant future also need some of the rear cards as well. :)

    Chappers, Liking that covering looks really good :thumbsup:
