  11. £17500? But it's pooh brown and left hand drive? Only a blind man would buy this. And until they invent some computerised gizmo that drives a bus electronically, not requiring any input from a driver, I really can't see it selling. I watched a TV programme recently that came up with the theory that brown was the worse and most undesirable colour for any vehicle. Colours come and go with fashion. White's the big thing right now. Brown, though, should have never been put on a vehicle, according to the experts on that TV programme. It was horrid in the 70s, died in the early 80s and'll never be seen again. Nor will it ever become fashionable. Nor was it ever. Best thing to do is buy it, strip it, acid dip it and paint the whole lot again. Not in brown.

  14. Isn't that the whole point about brown, it's from the seventies and conventionally undesirable, but these aren't conventional vehicles these days.
If it was a brown ford focus i'd agree, yuck,

mmmm cos them o-range focus's look great.......
i'll agree though brown isn't the ideal colour for what should be a "happy" looking vehicle, your bright colour ones do say campervan a lot more than mine, that said if it's originality or a break form the norm you require then the fact is that Champagnes are limited editions and were made in brown, vw do now offer T5's in a shade of brown although in fairness paint technology has improved and they don't look like last nights curry, for the record i'm not overly a fan of the colour brown in general but i am one of these people who thinks if a vehicle was made in a one off colour for a reason - i.e because it's a special edition then it should stay that way. I'll happily admit the champagne was a bit of a dumb idea in brown (gold should have been used?) luckily the silverfish managed to rectify the special brand and the fish is deffo rarer than the champagne.

  16. I love classic brown cars (porsche) and would have one any day over a fugly silverfish :)

Still lusting after that microbus. Is anyone on here rich and altruistic?
