Perhaps it's just another way of asking people to leave the dog alone. My pet hate is when walking down the road with the hounds and someone coming the other way goes woo hoo and waves their fingers as they go past and then wonders why the dog takes a sudden interest and jumps at them.
Newish… it’s making your point about dogs being emotionally supportive more formal. It’s aimed at autistic kids or those with anxiety problems. When we lost our dog, we did agree that the main reason to get another would be if our lad needed a support dog… not that he had much time for our old one! A lurchers tail is typically at toddlers head height! I have a colleague who is training their cockerpoo to be an emo dog…. However at 4 months old all she wants to do is run away from anyone other than my colleague!!
Well, at present there’s no need for a support dog, but I guess if the circumstances warranted it then I guess so.
Regarding the emotional support dogs. The legitimate, specifically trained ones when they are needed are wonderful. It's the ones where the owner has bought the coat, lead or whatever so they can take into the shops. Some people need to get a grip.
I think that’s what I saw. I also saw a sticker in a car the other day saying Autistic Child on board. Or something similar. Talk about giving a kid a complex.
Twenty? That's some age for a doggie. Well Done Miss Lily, and Happy (belated) Birthday. She looks very lovely
