Dog's Sweetcorn Stodge Cakes

  1. Dog's Sweetcorn Stodgecakes

    you will need:
    tin of sweetcorn
    small amount of flour
    salt and pepper
    tabasco(optional)
    1 small onion
    water
    olive oil
    a bowl
    a frying pan

    fry off the onions in some olive oil till caramelised and put in the bowl, put the sweetcorn in and season with the salt pepper and tabasco to your taste. add a small amount of water then add some flour so it all binds together and everything is coated in the batter like substance. put some olive oil in the saucepan and get it nice and hot. add a good dollop of the mix and spread it out. cook until browned then flip and do the other side. serve!

    this is good with loads of stuff instead of pasta rice potatoes etc. i like it with chicken or steak
