Going to a funeral in a mosque tomorrow, does anyone know what is acceptable to wear? especially regarding hats, and are children and women allowed? sorry for my ignorance
At a recent wedding I went to it was: shoes off women and children allowed but segregated from the men minimal flesh on show, women should at least cover their arms, shoulders and legs however, it all depends how devout they are as a different wedding I went to was practically a free for all!
If your a girl you have to cover your hair and arms, whatever sex you have to take your shoes off...I believe ?
think you have to wash your hands and feet before going in,and im not sure so dont quote me but theold hooter has to be a run through with water as well but that might be for believers ,as i say im not sure being from a good jewish /catholic background.
Rusty-roo just re read my post and ooooo arrr wurzel learnt I me onglish, now I be learnin it to our younguns at school. There's no hope for them. Just heard on the news that English is on the down in primary schools. Sorry tis I, it's people like me workin in schools messing it up.
Swimming costumes all round with ski boots! Na, I don't know. Best call someone who is going to find out?
To be honest as long as you follow their lead, show respect and try they will more than likely appreciate the gesture. They aren't overly fussed about non Muslims abiding by their religion as long as you don't abuse it.
I'm a bit lost for words tbh, the chaps going to a funeral and it's off topic in a way that seriously has made me cringe in places.
