Do you need bumpers for the mot?

Simple question but I suspect the answer won't be?

 

No

 

as long as there are no sharp or protruding edges that the bumper would otherwise cover then you don't need bumpers

didnt have any on mine recently for the MOT.....and my numberplate was on the dash top (because my bumpers are not fitted )

I had to refit my rear bumper last MOT because the exhaust protrudes further than the bodywork.

 

should have failed....

 

Oi !!!

....it did first time ....but that was the brakes (or lack of!)

 

I thought there was something in the mot where the numberplate had to be properly secured ,I remember getting a fail for it....
