Do you find teenagers annoying?

  2. I teach teenagers so yes I do find them annoying, but the positives far outweigh the negatives (usually)

    Positives:
    1. they hate the morning as much as I do
    2. they say some really funny things that make my belly ache with laughing
    3. they have some crazy ideas about life-see No.2
    4. they like alcohol
    5. they see fun in little things

I feel the balance of this thread has now been corrected :)

  3. I'm a teenager got beef?

    But naa I'm cool right?

  5. I like teenagers .l grew up with them

  6. I have absolutely nothing against teenagers! I was one once. We all were. As if I have to state the obvious. So, to say they're annoying would be a tad unfair.

I liked them when I was between the ages of 13 & 19 & maybe for a couple of years after that (if they were female). These days I'm not so sure.

  8. I agree with a lot of the comments made, but thinking back to my early teens (a long time ago) I can remember being with my mates round the streets after dark and making noise. It didn't even enter our heads that people in houses could hear us. ???

i think it's easy to blame teenagers for everything tbh. yes they can be antisocial but so can adults and old people. when was last time an old dear opened a door for you or a 40 year old didn't cut their grass at 9am on a sunday in case you were having a lye in?

Not all teenagers can be annoying, its society that labels them all...I think it depends on who there role models are, if they have a good role model who teaches them the rights and wrongs in life & they are more than willing to take on whats being passed over, then surely thats a good thing. Opposite to this, if they have no role models or good adults to guide them - then maybe they dont care what they do, what vandalism they cause or things of that nature.

  15. I'm not dead against teenaggers on a whole but i do find the lack of respect and no it all attitude rather annoying.

I was dropping my mate off the other day in Rusty and this kid was hanging around with his friends on their bikes. He proceded to try and block my path by sitting on his bike in the middle of the road but soon moved out of the way and his smug grin soon turned in to a look of fear when he relised i wasnt going to stop. My right of way so sod the little marmite. He then proceded to give it the large claiming Rusty was marmite and again try and block my path as i left my mates. Now why this kid felt the need to do that is beyond me but then im guessing that his brute of a Dad or latest "Uncle" acts in the same manner and therfore feels thats the way he has to act also and is safe in the thought that if i did get out of the camper and tell him to move the rubber duck out of my way he would go and get said Dad / Uncle to come out and fight his immature little battle with me and Rusty. Is it worth the hassle, of course not but for me the blame has to fall down on the parenting of these kids.

Now if i was to ever see one or both of my boys acting this way i would do my nut. I would like to think that i will teach my children to respect others and others property and belongings and also treat others how they would like to be treated. There is also the added bonus that i will not be allowing my boys to hang around on street corners or play violent PS3/Xbox games prefering instead to take them on weekend adventures in Rusty where they will learn a whole host of things rather than learning how to grow up as class a tw%ts.

  20. Someone told me that the, jeans hanging around the arse, stems from US prisons and is a signal to gay men that you like it up the gary. Not to sure how true that is but it would be hilarious if it was ;D
