  2. Know exactly what you are saying, we really struggle with this throw away society we live in, fortunately we have chicken and they have a chicken bowl indoors which is what would come in use in your situation tonight. :)

    *Now we feel old* :laugh2:

  3. Very very little really as Mollie the collie cleans up most of the left overs given the chance.

  4. Zed

    Zed Gradually getting grumpier

Now the consumer extraordinaire has left, we use 1/10th the bog-rolls (if that) and there's 1 bin bag every 2 weeks instead of 3 a week. God knows what she was doing. Shopping mostly I think. Blokes are nowhere near as wasteful as women in my experience. We don't waste anything. Not hard is it?

  5. Very little is thrown away - I was brought up with a 'waste not want not' mentality. Leftovers often get frozen and used as a ready meal at some point in the future (I've had some frozen Chinese takeaway this evening), or used for lunch the next day, or we've got a compost heap if ever any veg was wasted (very rare). Even chicken bones get boiled up for chicken stock (Mr Moosey is sooo good at cooking :) ) We both hate wasting food (and wasting money)!

A-hem Zed - not all women are like that!!!
