I and the good lady bloody love a meal of pasta but is a 500g bag plus pepers, sausages,gerkins all covered in a spicy fresh made tomato sauce tooooo much for just two for one meal. The Wii says yes I'm a fat bar person .
It is a lot .... we use half a bag (250g dried weight) for 2 adults & an almost 8 year old ... so that is roughly 100g per adult & 50g for her ... unless she is on a super-hungry day when she has been known to swop bowls!! Try a big salad to start ... light on dressing, cheese etc to fill you up a bit & then a smaller bowl of pasta. A large glass of water before you eat will fill you up as well so you will want to eat less! Of course, theory is great but the key is not to eat the nibbles & junk snack food in the evening coz you're hungry having had a smaller dinner!!
We do eat toooo much because our parents went without!! Now im a parent and grandparent i eat their sweets ???
We are the same. We eat stuff that is good for you but. It's the portion sizes that nobble us. I should really leave it in the pan but a)I'm greedy and b) I don't like to see it go to waste.
