Disappointing - thefoamshop.co.uk

  1. I've had some disappointing customer service from here. I ordered my foam for the rock and roll bed and paid extra to have stockingette on each piece to make it easier to get in and out of the covers. The largest piece turned up without stockingette. I called them and they were pretty good about it, though they wanted to send me some rather than refund me. Putting it on is a bit of hassle, needing a heat gun which is hard to use without damaging the foam, but I was OK with that.

    I later ordered new foam for the upstairs beds as the old stuff didn't look great. Again I paid £6 extra per piece for stockingette and again, when it turned up, the biggest piece didn't have stockingette on. Coincidence?

    I have called four times now and every time been told I will be refunded, but it hasn't happened. It's not a lot of money, but it was about 15% of the order value. I have come to the conclusion that this may just be a way of making the foam look cheaper than it is, by adding £6 per piece for stockingette and then skipping it on one piece.
  2. That's a bummer. I got some stuff from them a month or so back, including the shaped cushion for the buddy seat, and it was all first class and quick. All my pieces were with the stockinette too.
