Has anyone got or used one of those compressors that turn off when it has reached the pre set pressure?
Yes - I have one I've used for years from Halfords - I used to use it predominantly when inflating rugby balls when I used to coach. It was pretty accurate - I ride bikes and used to check with a standalone pressure gauge as it matter on them. Are you looking at one?
Must admit that I don't trust qauges on pumps...always check with a decent gauge. Cheap ones won't reach all the tyres from the cigarette lighter.
Ok for cars but the 2 I’ve used wouldn’t do a camper tyre as they couldn’t get to the higher pressure.
Got a £10 one from Tesco...its fine, but never had to do a type from completely flat. Did have to extend the 12v wire though.
The one I’ve got is okay for cars, and the front tyres of the motorhome - can’t stretch to the back ones. I could lengthen the cable but where’s the fun in that?
Most modern cars have them - pain in the harris. Might be biased, but everything on QVC can be bought cheaper elsewhere . And probably isn't crap. Ah - I can see why you thought that, but no, it was a single off the 1981 Album: Ralf und Florian eine Wohnung bekommen, der Scheißer. I believe it charted along with - "Place Warning Triangle at 50 yards" and "Hubcap das Schwein"
Just ordered it. I couldn’t find it cheaper anywhere else, plus you get 60 days to send it back if it turns out to be carp
I have one got it from Halford works on Tilly's tyres, it has the pre stting and stops when pressure is reached. You have be careful with some compressors because they draw a larger amperage than your 12v outlet, almost said cigarette lighter is rated at, also like most things 12v works better with engine running.
