Devon Curtain Fixings?

Discussion in 'Camper Conversions' started by Tonka, Mar 9, 2014.

  1. I'm not sure if anyone can help. I've done a search but don't seem to be able to identify the curtain rail attachments in my 1972 Devon Moonraker. I've no idea if these are the original or have been added afterwards, but I suspect the former as everything else is pretty much as is.

This is what they look like.

I only have about three anyway, so I'm not needing to match exactly, but obviously need to find something that will fit the rail I have as I'd rather not have to replace it. It's all there and in good condition, so I'm hoping to just buy new fixings!

Does anyone know what they are or whether there are a same size one that would fit the rail?

    Many thank yous!!

    :)

  2. Thanks but those are the Silent Gliss which is obviously the most commonly used rail, but the fixings shown are different. What I don't know and can't tell from those pictures is the size. If the size rail is the same then I can get those gliders and hooks no problem, but if they're not they won't fit my rail.

  3. Is anyone able to identify these curtain gliders?

Anyone got the Micro Silent Gliss system able to measure their gliders, so that I can compare?

I can only find the Silent Gliss online for ordering and they're not cheap enough to take pot luck. Also, how many gliders and hooks do folk use for the curtains?

    Loads of questions! Apologies! :)
