I've had a look at the usual places for dimensions of units but can't seem to find the dimensions for this unit :

I'm going to need to replace mine and would rather build one in my shed without taking the original out first - it's not very well made and it doesn't fit too well in any case..

  2. I could be wrong but that doesn't look like a Devon cooker to me. Maybe the unit has been "modified" to accept the new cooker?. I'm doing something similar in mine but keeping the old unit as it's the original one.

That's exactly the same as mine - 1973 Devon Eurovette. I took mine out and used the stainless housing plus a little Smev burner to build a whole new cabinet as all the wood was shot and the cooker a bit rusty and broken. It looks period.

  4. I couldn't find dimensions either so I took the old one apart and used it as templates. It's quite a series of angles to fit the rear bulkhead. I ended up modifying it as I went along anyway but it was a straightforward way of getting a good fit.

  5. Mines earlier (1970) and is in quite good nick but only holds the old single burner,
