DERRYS WALLED CITY visiting ireland

  1. we have here one of only a few complete walled citys in the world , and its beautiful ,

    its in the same parr as the giants causeway so if your over in the camper have a wall around its 1.2 miles of living history ,
    all the cannons where donated buy various english merchants during the seige in the early 1600 s

    was the site of a very large pillar which was blown up in the aerly 70 s

  7. looks a very neat tidy place...doesnt look busy either. ive seen some of ulster many years ago during a camper road trip. i found it a friendly place to visit where i went. great photos of a historic city for many reasons good and bad. cheers for sharing
