Day out

Going to dig out the water proofs and head out for the afternoon to visit a place called druids temple

ooh, that looks worth a visit next time i'm i Bingley - we often nip 'cross border into n. yorks

 

It was a nice afternoon trip out with the rain calming for a short while

Theres even a farm near by where you can stay in a yurt

Excuse the pic quality i forgot my camera so my eldest daughter took some pics on her phone

We had a picnic lunch sat at the alter stone whilst we were there

I had either an awesome thought or a daft one whilst eating


Id love to hold a midnight dinner party in the middle of the stones lit by candles and parrafin lamps

Theres plenty of campsites in the areas so we could organise a camp then a few busses travel up for the party then return to the campsite later

Theres no camping allowed at druids temple and no open fires but it is open access land

Am i nuts or would anyone else fancy it?

 

Anyone up for a day trip then to go have a look at the place and come up with some plans?

Im good at ideas but poo at organisation

I was thinking if someone good with words could have a natter at the farm with yurts we could maybe camp in the busses there and its only a short walk to the temple

It was all ghost stories and now I am too scared to sleep, I hate scary things.
