Dashboard Removal Procedure

  1. It's probably been talked about here before but are there any links on how to do it with hints and tips etc?

    Thanks awfully chaps!

  2. Do you mean the dash top, or the whole dash?

  3. I was thinking the whole dash as it could do with a repaint, or maybe repaint it whilst it's in place possibly?

  4. It's fairly involved but quite do-able. Don't rush it.

Disconnect the battery before you start.

If you unplug any electrical connectors make a note of where they went. You can get stuff like the dash switches out without disconnecting anything.

I try and wind bolts/ screws back into where they came out if I can, so I know where they go.

Get a pack of sandwich bags for any fixings you can't wind back in and label them.

    Take pictures
